Join us for “Stories Without Words,” an enchanting solo recital featuring pianist TianYi Li. From the iconic “Pathétique” Sonata by Ludwig van Beethoven to Li-san Wang’s depictions of Chinese sceneries, culminating in Franz Liszt’s exploration of heaven and hell in the Fantasia quasi sonata, this piano recital explores the the possibilities of storytelling with music.

Bio: Dr. TianYi Li is an award-winning pianist and pedagogue whose work spans the United States, Europe, and China. He earned a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano from the Juilliard School in 2025 with a dissertation examining historical solo piano transcriptions of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5. He also holds a Master of Music in Piano from Juilliard and a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from New York University.

This is a free concert. All are welcome. Registration encouraged.
