A little bit about our four featured artists for INSIDE THE OUTSIDE: Four Lenses on the Land…
Robert Hopkins moved with his family from Philadelphia to New Jersey when he was a teenager. His early interests were in military service and he enlisted in the Marine Corps after high school. Robert obtained his degree from Rutgers University and returned to the military as a Navy officer serving on the aircraft carrier Nimitz and the command ship La Salle. A self-taught amateur photographer, Robert has been photographing for more than 20 years.

Mark Harris is an exhibiting fine art photographer from Metuchen, NJ. His work has been seen in many juried shows including the 2021 Art Fair 14C in Jersey City. He also does headshots and portraits as well as photographs of nature.
The images included in this exhibit were all made in various locations to which he has traveled.
Deb Kmetz enjoys travelling, birding, and making fine art photography of the world around her. She is also a freelance real estate photographer, committee chair for Nails in the Wall Gallery at St. Luke's Metuchen, and secretary of Metuchen Arts Council.
Jacki Dickert is a New Jersey artist specializing in landscape, nature, and abstract photography. Her selections for this exhibit are all photos from U.S. national parks, in appreciation of our public lands. Jacki Dickert’s next solo exhibit “Rust: Alchemy and Imagination” will be at the Gallery in the Metuchen Public Library, May 2-June28.
