Friends of Metuchen Arts Plants Creative Roots in New Arts District Gallery with “Inside the Outside: Four Lenses on the Land”, a group photography exhibit

The artistic landscape of Metuchen is blossoming! Friends of Metuchen Arts (FOMA) is delighted to announce the opening of its vibrant new home and art gallery at 315A Main Street, nestled in the heart of the Metuchen Arts District, directly opposite the beloved Forum Theater.

Driven by a passion to cultivate art in all its forms – from the stroke of a brush to the rhythm of dance, the melody of music to the drama of theatre – FOMA envisions its new space as a dynamic center for creativity and learning. 315A Main Street will be dedicated to artistic expression through gallery exhibitions, workshops, art markets, and community events.

“Art binds. Culture generates social capital and strengthens a community’s character. Art brings people together physically — at galleries, museums, performance spaces — and culturally, through its capacity to tell a community’s shared story, to inspire reflection, and form connections that transcend differences.”
